Lisa Armstrong Calls Hurley Her ‘Baby Boy’ in Throwback Photo Amid Custody Struggle with Ant McPartlin

Lisa Armstrong recently shared a heartfelt throwback photo from her marriage to Ant McPartlin for a special reason. The Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist posted a picture of their pet dog Hurley as a puppy to celebrate his 11th birthday. In the touching post, Lisa referred to Hurley as her “baby boy,” delighting fans with the adorable snap of the chocolate Labrador.

Lisa, 48, and Ant share custody of Hurley, a point of contention since their split in 2018. Hurley, who they welcomed into their lives in 2013, has been a constant in both their lives. Recently, Ant welcomed his first child with his wife, Anne-Marie Corbett. The couple announced the arrival of their baby boy, Wilder Patrick, in May. Ant shared a joyful photo of himself holding the newborn, captioned: “Welcome to the family Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54 am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!”

Celebrity friends quickly congratulated the couple. Holly Willoughby commented, “Congratulations… welcome to the world Wilder… such beautiful news.” Amanda Holden added, “Oh my gosh, this is just the most amazing news. Congratulations.” Alesha Dixon also expressed her happiness, saying, “Awwwww darling I’m so happy for you both! Baby shares the same birthday as my mummy! Can’t wait to meet Buba and to celebrate soon! Love you both.”

Despite the happy news, The Sun reported that Lisa is “struggling” with the situation and seeks full custody of Hurley. The custody of their beloved dog has been a recurring issue between Lisa and Ant since their divorce.

Lisa and Ant were together for 23 years, having met as teenagers. They married in 2006 but separated in 2018. Ant proposed to Anne-Marie in December 2020, describing the proposal to Digital Spy: “It was a lovely way to end the year. I’m a romantic at heart. You know, there were flowers and afternoon tea in front of the Christmas tree. Lovely. It was lovely.”

Following the engagement, Lisa responded to media speculation about her feelings, writing: “Just made up rubbish… don’t understand why they can’t leave me alone!” A follower supported her, commenting on the absurdity of media focus amid global issues, to which Lisa agreed, calling it “ridiculous.”

Lisa has since been in a relationship with electrician James Green, though they reportedly parted ways in 2023 after three years together. James has moved out of Lisa’s £3.85 million London home, marking another significant change in her life.
