Loose Women’s Linda Robson Reveals Drastic Christmas Change Following Heartbreaking Split from Husband

Loose Women star Linda Robson has opened up about her changing family dynamics and how she’s adapting to life after her split from husband Mark Dunford. In a candid chat on Loose Women, Linda shared that her Christmas plans have shifted, as she’ll be spending the holiday at her eldest daughter Lauren’s house instead of her own, as reported by the Mirror.

Discussing her holiday traditions, Linda revealed her firm stance on technology during the festive season. “At my house, there won’t be any phones. Well, it’s not actually my house this year; it’s Lauren’s house, but normally in my house, it’s no phones. So we take the phones off them until later that day and we have a nice peaceful family time,” she said.

Linda also spoke about the challenges of managing her grandchildren’s attachment to screens. “My grandchildren are addicted to phones,” she explained. “Lila’s 11; she’s just got a phone for the first time. And Betsy’s seven. Betsy is not allowed on her laptop until the weekend or any mobile phones, and she’s like on Monday, ‘Is it the weekend yet?’ and [I say] no, we’ve got another five days”, reported by Wales Online.

Reflecting on her own struggles with phone usage, Linda admitted, “Honestly, it just sort of takes over your life because I was addicted to the phone myself.”

In September 2023, Linda confirmed her split from her husband Mark Dunford after 33 years of marriage. While their relationship spanned decades, Linda candidly told Woman magazine, “He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough. I’m not interested [in dating], honestly. I can’t be a***d with all that.”

Despite the challenges, Linda is embracing her new chapter, focusing on her family and self-care. Previously, she had laughed off speculation about her marriage, playfully teasing about prioritizing her dog over her husband during a Loose Women segment last August: “Notice the order!”

Through the ups and downs, Linda remains a beacon of resilience and humor, dedicated to making her family time special—even if it means banning phones for a peaceful holiday celebration.
