Linda Robson Ends 33-Year Marriage After Brutal ‘Bedroom Disappointment’ Confession

TV favourite Linda Robson has opened up in a way only she can, chatting candidly about her split from husband Mark Dunford after over three decades together. The Loose Women star, 67, didn’t sugarcoat things either – sharing some personal details about why the marriage fizzled out.

After 33 years of marriage and raising two children, Louis and Bobbie, Linda admitted the spark had long since gone out. “We just sort of grew apart,” she previously shared, revealing they hadn’t been intimate for a couple of years. “Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years? I can’t be a**** with all that [romance stuff],” she quipped. “I’m just happy going out with my mates and my children and my grandchildren”, reported the Express.

Their story actually goes way back. They first met when they were teens living just a street apart. “I used to babysit for Mark – he was a couple of years younger than me… I was 16 and he was 13 and a half,” she recalled back in 2017. “And he was a bit of a pain, to be honest.” It wasn’t until much later that romance blossomed, eventually leading to their wedding in 1990.

Things weren’t always rosy though. On Loose Women, Linda got honest about their ups and downs, admitting that she often felt like they were just co-existing. Still, even after they split, she revealed they were still under the same roof for a while – putting the kids first and trying to keep things civil.

“He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough,” she said in a chat with Woman magazine. “I’ve got my family and my kids around me. And I’m going on a cruise with Lesley Joseph in November. I’m keeping busy”, reported the Daily Mail.

Speaking to OK!, Linda reflected on their differences, saying they just weren’t cut from the same cloth. “We never had that much in common. I’m very sociable. Mark never enjoyed that side of things.”

Now that their kids are grown and living their own lives, Linda seems more than content embracing single life. She’s not looking for love, not interested in romance, and is simply enjoying time with her loved ones. “People do, sometimes, don’t they?” she said. “We just drifted.”

One thing’s clear – Linda’s not wallowing. She’s stepping into this new chapter with the same honesty and down-to-earth charm we’ve always loved her for.
