Kohl’s Enhances Board with Appointment of Former Bath & Body Works CFO, Wendy Arlin

Kohl’s, the US department store chain, has revealed the addition of Wendy Arlin to its board of directors as part of an ongoing effort to refresh the board with “relevant, experienced leaders.”

Wendy Arlin, the former chief financial officer of Bath & Body Works, brings over three decades of expertise in corporate finance, accounting, and financial reporting.

With nearly 20 years of leadership experience at L Brands, including roles such as senior vice president of finance and corporate controller, Arlin has a robust background in the industry.

Currently serving as a director of The Wendy’s Company and WK Kellogg, where she holds positions on the Compensation and Talent committee and chairs the Audit committee, Arlin will officially join Kohl’s board at the 2024 annual shareholder meeting.

Her role will include service on the board’s audit committee. With this appointment, Kohl’s board will comprise 13 directors, with 12 being independent.

Board Chair Peter Boneparth expressed satisfaction with Arlin’s addition, stating, “Her deep financial, accounting, and industry experience adds to the existing strength of the board, making her an excellent addition as we focus on supporting the company’s strategic growth plan and delivering shareholder value.”
