King Charles seemingly hints at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry through a request for sustainability

During a recent trip to Kenya, King Charles made an environmentally conscious decision, sparking discussions about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s travel choices.

Choosing to fly on the RAF Voyager for the first Commonwealth visit of his reign, King Charles requested the plane use 40 percent sustainable aviation fuel. This decision was highlighted by Cameron Walker, a Royal Correspondent for GB News, who shared footage of the royal couple reviewing their trip’s itinerary on board.

Conversely, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted for a private jet, the Dassault Falcon 7X, for their travels from New Jersey to Canouan earlier in the month. They used the same private aircraft for a subsequent short trip between Canouan and Atlanta, Georgia, post a summit they attended in New York.

As reported by GB News, This choice raised eyebrows as both Harry and Meghan have frequently voiced concerns about environmental issues. Furthermore, during an event that the couple attended, Zak Williams, the comedian and actor son of Robin Williams, emphasized the detrimental effects of climate change on mental health, particularly among the youth.

The couple’s decision to travel by private jet has been critiqued by many who see it as contradictory to their environmental advocacy. King Charles, a longtime advocate for environmental sustainability, has in the past expressed an understanding of environmental groups and their concerns. Yet, he also mentioned that some of their tactics might be counterproductive.

The official Royal Family’s social media showcased King Charles and Queen Camilla’s sustainable travel, emphasizing their commitment to environmental responsibility. Their engagements in Kenya span five days, starting from the day of their arrival.
