Katie Price Rushed in a Wheelchair After Suffering Another Major Holiday Injury—What Happened This Time?
0Former glamour model Katie Price’s lavish holiday took a painful turn as she was spotted in a wheelchair with a bandaged foot. The 46-year-old mother of five was seen being pushed through a hospital car park in Cyprus by her boyfriend, JJ Slater, 32, after slipping on a rock. This isn’t the first time Katie has faced such an ordeal while abroad; she previously broke bones in both her feet during a trip to Turkey.
Back in 2020, Katie suffered a serious injury when she fell from a 25-foot wall during her holiday. The accident required multiple surgeries, leaving her unable to walk for six months. Now, in her attempt to enjoy some autumn sun, it seems she’s encountered yet another setback.
In the recent photos, JJ, known for his appearance on Married At First Sight, was seen in a white vest top, grey shorts, and trainers, helping Katie navigate out of the hospital. Despite the injury, Katie kept her holiday spirit alive, wearing a plunging green bikini as she sat in the wheelchair with her dark hair tied back in a high ponytail. Her left foot was visibly bandaged.
At one point, JJ offered his hand to Katie, helping her out of the wheelchair and into the clinic for further treatment. She was seen hopping on one leg as she entered the facility, in photos shared by the Daily Mail. The reality TV star had been enjoying a holiday in Cyprus with JJ and her eldest son, Harvey. This trip follows several others Katie took over the summer, including one to Turkey, where she underwent a £10,000 facelift.
Katie has been proudly showing off the results of her recent procedure during her travels. JJ, who first caught public attention on Married At First Sight, and Katie made their relationship official in February after a trip to Bulgaria.
This latest incident is reminiscent of her injury four years ago in Turkey when she suffered a severe fall that required screws and metal plates as part of her treatment. At the time, Katie had to “learn to walk again.” Reflecting on the experience, she admitted, “Silly me, at my age, should calm things down. It was a silly little accident. I was running and jumped over a wall as a shortcut, but didn’t judge the height and landed funny on my ankles.”
Katie described the pain from her previous injury, noting that doctors wanted to operate and insert pins. “It’s the most painful thing ever. When I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I wouldn’t be able to walk for three to six months,” she shared.
