Katherine Jenkins Announces “A Little Bit of Bad News and a Big Bit of Good News” After Breaking Her Pinky Toe

Katherine Jenkins, the Welsh opera singer, shared some personal news with her fans on Instagram this week, revealing that she had broken her little toe. The 44-year-old singer posted a picture of her X-ray, explaining the unfortunate injury while also delivering some exciting news about her business.

“A little bit of bad news and a big bit of good news… Starting the year with a broken pinky toe,” Jenkins wrote in her post. Despite the painful injury, Jenkins quickly turned the focus to the positive side, announcing a new partnership for her gin company, Cygnet Gin.

“BUT also with a lovely announcement that @Cygnet_gin is partnering with the iconic Penderyn Distillery,” she added. She went on to express her enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting what Cygnet Gin represents. “Cygnet embodies the essence of my homeland – its incredible natural beauty, the warmth & passion of our people, and the unparalleled care with which we make our products,” Jenkins shared to Daily Mail.

She also revealed that her gin company would now be based at the historic Copperworks Distillery with Penderyn. The news of the partnership was met with enthusiasm from her followers, many of whom expressed their well-wishes for Jenkins and congratulated her on the exciting new development for Cygnet Gin.

Katherine’s fans were quick to offer their support and sympathy for her injury. One person commented, “Sorry to hear about the toe. And great news about Penderyn!” Another wrote, “Oh no. Hope it mends soon, that is painful. Put your feet up for a bit!” A third fan added, “Sorry about your toe Katherine, I hope it’s not too painful. Great news about the partnership and relocating to the Copperworks. I can pop in now when I go down to watch the Swans.”

Despite the setback, Jenkins maintained a positive attitude, focusing on the growth of her business and the exciting opportunities ahead. The partnership with Penderyn Distillery marks a significant milestone for Cygnet Gin, which will now be crafted in the historic setting of the Copperworks Distillery in South Wales.
