Kate Middleton’s Skinny Jeans Are Definitely Too Much For The Royals—But We Think They’re So Chic!

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, chose a casual-chic ensemble to get her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine – one week after her husband, Prince William, had his.

According to the details, Kate shared the photo of her receiving the COVID-19 injection via the couples Instagram yesterday.

She added: “Yesterday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who is playing a part in the rollout – thank you for everything you are doing.”

For the occasion, she donned a ribbed scoop neck top from H&M, complete with cropped sleeves that easily exposed her arm to the injection. She coordinated the look with straight-leg blue jeans from & Other Stories and a standard medical face mask.

With her hair in loose waves, and dressed casually in blue jeans and a short-sleeved cream top, Kate looked pleased to be receiving her vaccination – a week after her husband, Prince William, received his.

This isn’t the first time Kate has dressed on the casual side. In April, the duchess opted for jeans when she made a visit to Manor Farm, and last year we spotted her in a pair of Zara jeans for a visit to Teagasc Research Farm.

Jeans don’t often make an appearance in Kate’s wardrobe, though. Her typical off-duty styling includes crepe or satin trousers, typically with a skinny leg and pleated structure. And Kate isn’t the only royal who has dressed in denim over the years. Jeans are actually not against royal protocol, as many casual styles like sleeveless tops tend to be.

Though the Queen has never been spotted in jeans, Kate Middleton’s late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, was a fan of the look, as are Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
