Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton the wives of Prince Harry and Prince William don’t seem to be involved in rivalry until the unheard audio recordings of the late Princess Diana that have surfaced online.

“I think Meghan may see Diana as a role model, and feel she can relate to her. So she’ll welcome more insight into Diana’s life and for them to be compared,” said Paul Burrell, British butler, and a royal expert.

Burrell further said in Daily Mail, that Netflix has ‘capitalized’ on a demand for royal scandal. This can create trouble against Meghan who has a deal with Netflix worth a reported $100 million.

Therefore, Middleton is equally effective and expresses the confidence of her royal status and does ramification for building an aspirational public image. Thus, she is ready to take the vacant seat of Diana anytime.

“The last year has given her confidence and proved she is a strong, reliable figure able to take on engagements on her own,” opined Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe, further adding, “Kate is now finally starting to fill the shoes she’s been wearing for a decade.”

The documentary will be released on the 25th Death Anniversary of 2021. Burrell also remarked how the entire episode is going to put Harry in a tough spot, and worse still, it may create a rift between Meghan and him.

“It’s very awkward as I think Meghan may see Diana as a role model, and feel she can relate to her. So, she’ll welcome more insight into Diana’s life and for them to be compared. But those differing feelings could create a divide between her and Harry. It could even drive them apart.”
