Kate Garraway Shocks Rob Rinder with Spicy Confession on Good Morning Britain: ‘I Used to Have Jalapeños for Breakfast’
0Kate Garraway left her Good Morning Britain co-host Rob Rinder stunned on Friday with an unexpected confession during their morning broadcast. The duo was joined by Entertainment Editor Richard Arnold, who brought the latest celebrity news, including a segment on pop star Ariana Grande’s appearance on Hot Ones, told Lancs.
As they watched a clip of Grande struggling to eat hot chillis while being interviewed, both Rob and Richard questioned why anyone would subject themselves to such a challenge. Richard remarked, “I don’t know why you’d put yourself through that,” to which Kate surprisingly responded, “I think I’d be alright at that.”
Richard, taken aback, asked, “Would you?” Kate went on to reveal her secret talent, saying, “I’m really good at spice. If that could be an Olympic sport, that’s maybe where I could do my over 50 entrance.”
This led Rob to humorously inquire, “Do you have a tongue like asbestos?” Kate then explained her love for all things spicy: “Well, I just really love it, the hotter the better, I just love it. I used to have jalapeños for breakfast.”
Her surprising revelation left both Rob and Richard in disbelief, as they exclaimed, “What?!” Kate, realizing she might have shared too much, added, “I know, I feel like I’ve gone into something I didn’t need to share.”
Rob, not missing a beat, quipped, “It would be upsetting if you shared what happened the day after,” which sent Kate into fits of laughter.
The unexpected exchange brought a lighthearted moment to the morning show, with viewers enjoying the playful banter between the hosts. Kate’s spicy confession certainly added a surprising twist to the day’s broadcast, showcasing her fun and candid personality.
