This Morning’s Josie Gibson Shares Emotional Details of Her Funeral Plans
0Josie Gibson has confirmed that she has already made plans for her own funeral. The This Morning star confessed on Tuesday, August 6, that she has even gone to the extra length of creating a video for her family and friends to watch when she passes away.
Speaking alongside her co-stars, including Nick Ferrari and Craig Doyle, they discussed new information from funeral directors indicating that people now prefer funerals to be more of a celebration rather than a somber occasion.
Josie agreed with this sentiment, telling the other presenters, “I want drag queens bringing my coffin in, I want disco music, and I’ve already made a video.”
The mother-of-one declared that she wanted her funeral to be vibrant and a celebration of love, ensuring her friends and family knew “she’d had a really good life.” Josie has prepared a heartfelt video ready for the day, adding a personal touch to her future memorial, as per Daily Record.
Josie wasn’t the only one with plans for her farewell. TV personality and This Morning regular Nick Ferrari also shared his unique funeral wishes. Nick told Josie and Craig, “I want stunning Moulin Rouge dancers to come and throw a single white rose onto my coffin and then run off weeping.”
This week, Josie and her Irish co-star Craig Doyle are filling in as hosts after the usual presenters, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, took some time off.
Fans couldn’t be happier about the pairing, with many taking to Twitter to express their delight at ITV’s decision to team Josie up with Craig for another week. One person tweeted, “Yes, Craig and Josie are on again, #thismorning,” while another echoed, “Josie and Craig have more chemistry than Cat and Ben, love it when they are on #thismorning.”
Josie and Craig’s dynamic has been well-received, adding a refreshing and engaging presence to the morning show. As they continue to entertain and connect with viewers, their chemistry and lighthearted banter make for a delightful viewing experience.
