Jay-Z Accused of Assaulting 13-Year-Old Girl at MTV Music Awards in Shocking Lawsuit

Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley broke the news on December 9, revealing that rapper Jay-Z is facing serious allegations in a civil lawsuit. The lawsuit claims that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, assaulted a 13-year-old girl after the MTV Music Awards back in 2000.

Speaking to the camera, Susanna informed viewers, “Our main news this morning, rapper Jay-Z has been accused in a civil lawsuit of assaulting a 13-year-old girl after the MTV Music Awards back in the year 2000, alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs”, reported by the Express.

Richard made sure to add more details, stating, “Well, Jay-Z, who is married to the singer Beyoncé, has responded to the allegations, dismissing them as ‘idiotic.’ In a statement published overnight, he also added, ‘my only heartbreak is for my family.'”

The presenters then passed the report to U.S. journalist Noel Phillips, who was on the ground in America to provide more details about the lawsuit. Phillips reported that a teenager had filed a 21-page court document claiming that she was “drugged and sexually assaulted” by Jay-Z nearly 24 years ago. The unnamed woman, who made the allegations, also referred to an anonymous female in the document described as “celebrity B,” who was allegedly present during the alleged incident.

Phillips continued, stating that Jay-Z has denied all the allegations against him. The rapper’s legal team has also pushed back hard on the claims, with Jay-Z continuing to call them baseless.

This shocking development has made waves in both the music and legal worlds, with many awaiting further updates as the case continues to unfold. The controversy surrounding Jay-Z comes at a time when he has been widely recognized not only for his success as a musician but also as a business mogul, married to one of the most powerful women in entertainment, Beyoncé.
