Celebrity chef James Martin, 52, has been seen enjoying a romantic getaway with his new love interest, Kim Johnson, following his recent split from longtime partner Louise Davies. The pair chose the charming bed and breakfast Le Jardin de Rose for their retreat, a quaint spot in semi-rural France. The B&B owners, Min and Barry, took to social media to express their delight at hosting the celebrity chef and his new partner, stating, “Le Jardin de Rose may only be a very small quiet side in semi-rural France, but we have fabulous guests,” and added, “Thank you, James Martin.”

Although the reasons for their split remain private, James has been open about his views on marriage. In an interview with Sunday People, he made it clear that marriage doesn’t interest him, largely due to his experience catering for weddings.
“No, it doesn’t interest me in the slightest, mainly because I’ve catered for so many weddings, really. I admire people who do it, that’s fine, but I’m quite happy. I don’t need to spend 60 grand on a day, no, I’m more than happy, thanks,” he remarked, reports the Mirror.
James, who is passionate about cars, also expressed a preference for investing in his car collection rather than spending on a wedding. “My mates come round to my house and they look into my garage, and I go, ‘These are my babies, these are my things,'” he said, emphasizing that everyone has their own priorities.
