Holly Willoughby All Smiles on Holiday with Celebrity Mates in First Sighting in Months

Holly Willoughby, the former This Morning host, was all smiles as she joined a star-studded gathering in Portugal for a glamorous birthday celebration. The 43-year-old TV personality was photographed looking happy and relaxed while attending the birthday party of wine brand owner Elle Caring, told The Mirror.

The event, which took place at the Bold Octopus restaurant in Praia do Ancão, saw Holly mingling with other well-known faces, including 45-year-old fellow TV presenter Christine Lampard. In a photo shared on Elle Caring’s Instagram Stories, Holly can be seen enjoying the festivities, dressed in a sleeveless white summer dress, accessorized with a large sun hat and dark sunglasses. Christine, equally elegant, donned a stylish summer dress and chic gold accessories, as the two caught up at the glitzy affair.

Other celebrities in attendance included former footballer Peter Crouch and his wife, model Abbey Clancy, making it a truly star-studded event. The celebration was clearly a hit, with Elle expressing her joy on social media, sharing highlights from the day and writing, “The best day celebrating my birthday with my besties! Thanks for coming! And thank you @bencaring and @theboldoctopus! And of course @drinkladya.”

Holly, who has been keeping a relatively low profile since leaving This Morning last year following a foiled kidnapping plot, appeared to be in good spirits at the party. While she stepped back from the limelight for a time, Holly returned to TV earlier this year to co-host the winter sports reality show Dancing On Ice.

Fans of the beloved presenter will be pleased to know that she’s gearing up for more screen time soon. Holly has been filming a new reality show for Netflix called Bear Hunt, set in the Costa Rican jungle. The show, reminiscent of I’m A Celebrity, will feature celebrities attempting to avoid being found by survival expert Bear Grylls in a challenging jungle environment.

Additionally, Holly is set to co-host a revival of the classic game show You Bet!, which last aired in 1997. She will team up with her Dancing On Ice co-host Stephen Mulhern for the reboot, which will feature two 75-minute specials. The show’s format will remain familiar, with a panel of celebrities and a studio audience predicting whether contestants can complete various challenges. The contestants will have the chance to win prizes of £10,000, and ITV is hopeful that the revival will be a ratings success.

A source previously told The Sun, “Holly is one of ITV’s top presenters, and she’s deemed the perfect person to front You Bet! Her chemistry with Stephen on Dancing On Ice earlier this year was perfect, and bosses wanted them back on screen together.”

With these exciting projects on the horizon, Holly Willoughby is poised to make a strong return to television, much to the delight of her fans.
