Prince Harry’s next move could completely jeopardize royal family relations, says royal experts

Prince Harry has hinted at the possibility of a sequel to his explosive memoir “Spare,” according to insights from royal experts. However, such a move could further complicate any chances of reconciliation with his family, including King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

In discussions highlighted by the Independent, royal author and expert Robert Hardman suggested that the Duke of Sussex might soon release a second part of his controversial autobiography. Hardman pointed out that Harry’s coverage of significant life events, such as his wedding to Meghan Markle, was surprisingly brief in “Spare,” spanning only four or five pages.

“Now, as an author, that says to me one thing and one thing only: part two might be on its way,” he said, adding that a sequel would further strain his relationship with the Royal family. “I don’t feel like he would put his family in such a weird position while they’re battling multiple cancer issues, but I do think it’s a no-brainer that if Spare were such a huge financial success for him that he leaned back into that,” she said. “I feel like that really was, aside from the Netflix docu-series, one of [the Sussexes’] only real commercial successes.”

This brevity has led to speculation that a more detailed account could be forthcoming in another book. Echoing these thoughts, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield discussed on her Unfiltered podcast that Prince Harry had originally signed a contract with his publisher for multiple books. This contractual agreement suggests that the publication of a sequel is more than just a possibility.

Schofield expressed, “The Duke signed a contract with the publisher for multiple books so a sequel might be in the works.” However, Schofield also noted potential delays in Harry’s plans out of consideration for his family, particularly given the health challenges facing his father, King Charles, and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.

The delicate family dynamics and the health concerns of close relatives might influence the timing or content of any subsequent publications. The prospect of a sequel to “Spare” continues to stir discussions about the ongoing tension between Prince Harry and the royal family. His first memoir already strained familial relationships by revealing private conversations and controversial opinions, and a second book could further deepen these rifts.

As the royal family navigates these sensitive issues, the potential release of another memoir by Prince Harry remains a topic of intense public and media speculation. Whether or not he chooses to proceed soon with a sequel, and how it might impact his relationship with his family, is an unfolding story that continues to capture global attention.
