Prince Harry, Prince William relationship ‘damaged beyond repair’

According to Omid Scobie’s explosive new book, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival,” the rift between Prince William and Prince Harry appears irreparable, with “no going back” from the damage inflicted, as reported by People.

The fractures in the brothers’ relationship were laid bare in Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” released in January, and, nearly a year later, Scobie notes that “absolutely nothing has changed.” In fact, the situation has reportedly deteriorated, solidifying into something “colder and more immovable,” with both princes seemingly accepting the end of their relationship.

Scobie views Harry’s release of “Spare” as a final attempt to express long-standing feelings within the family. “Because clearly there’s never been an open enough forum to have these conversations or share these feelings,” he remarks.

Contrary to the traditional reserve of the royal family, Scobie argues in “Endgame” that ignoring internal rifts may pose a significant risk. He suggests that William prioritizes loyalty to the monarchy, cooperating with the UK press to undermine Harry, which, according to Scobie, contrasts with the public’s perception of the royal family as the nation’s family.

The book reveals William’s belief that Harry, influenced by an “army of therapists,” blindsided the family, including the late Queen, with public complaints. William reportedly no longer recognizes his brother and feels betrayed and saddened by the situation. The release of “Spare,” which criticizes William, has fueled a significant amount of anger, according to a source cited by Scobie.

On the other hand, Harry, while not finding closure with his family, has allegedly accepted that change is unlikely, especially with his brother, who reportedly refuses to engage in a proper conversation. As Harry expressed to a friend, he is “ready to move on past it” and questions the significance of an apology or accountability at this point.
