Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘In Trouble’ as ‘Figures of Ridicule’ in Hollywood

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle find themselves ‘in trouble’ as they become ‘figures of ridicule’ within Hollywood’s elite circles, following a recent public mocking at the Golden Globes. This shift in perception could be indicative of a major decline in their star status.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were the target of jabs by Golden Globes host Jo Koy, who humorously critiqued their lucrative Netflix deal. “Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing. And that’s just by Netflix,” Koy joked. He further lampooned Prince Harry’s relationship with the British Royal Family, making a quip about ‘The Crown’ actress Imelda Staunton’s portrayal of the Queen.

This comedic spotlight on the Sussexes has led to concerns about their diminishing popularity in Hollywood. Commentator Phil Dampier, speaking to GB News, emphasized the serious implications of their new status as ‘figures of ridicule.’ “When you start to become figures of ridicule, you are in trouble,” he stated, suggesting a fall from grace in the celebrity sphere.

Initially welcomed with open arms in Hollywood, the tide appears to be turning for Harry and Meghan. The jokes and mockery from industry insiders signify that they are now ‘in trouble’ in these once-friendly circles. Dampier pointed to the release of Omid Scobie’s ‘Endgame’ as a possible contributor to this negative shift, predicting a ‘nosedive’ in their popularity in 2024 unless they manage a significant turnaround.

Despite being the subjects of ridicule and facing challenges in Hollywood, sources close to Meghan and Harry, as well as Mr. Scobie, maintain that the couple had no involvement in ‘Endgame,’ which has been critical of various Royal Family members.
