Harry and Meghan in the Dark, No Updates on Kate’s Health or King Charles’ Illness

In the absence of new information regarding Princess Kate’s health, not only is the general public feeling excluded, but Prince Harry is also reportedly left uninformed about his sister-in-law’s cancer treatment and his father, King Charles III’s, own struggle with illness, a new report claimed.

“If Harry emails or calls to request a specific update from the Palace, they’ll eventually give him a generic response. But details are scant,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.

Princess Kate, 42, has been out of the public spotlight since she disclosed her cancer diagnosis in a video posted on March 22. Meanwhile, King Charles, 75, has resumed some of his royal duties.

“The main objective of the royals is to keep Kate as removed from stress or drama as possible while she continues her treatment,” the insider stated. The freeze-out is allegedly a result of Prince William and Queen Camilla’s involvement, implying they have issued orders to treat Harry as persona non grata.

Palace insiders, still emotionally resentful from Harry’s revelations about The Firm, have little sympathy for the 39-year-old prince. “There’s precious little sympathy toward Harry from the vast majority of courtiers. The way they see it, he’s out of the fold and exiled at this point, barely tolerated at best,” the informant said.

Amidst this, reports suggest Princess Kate has been seen out and about in private during her “preventive chemotherapy,” though she is not expected to return to royal duties anytime soon. It seems Prince Harry will find out about her return along with the public.

“Harry’s following it all from afar and extremely concerned. He just wishes he could be kept apprised more fully. He thinks it’s callous and spiteful that he’s so isolated and out of the loop,” the tipster stated.

In April, it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan have received very few updates regarding the health of King Charles and Princess Kate.

“The only real thing that Meghan Markle and her husband have to merchandise is their connection to the Royal Family, it really is the singular point of interest for either of these people,” royal commentator Maureen Callahan told GBN America.

“What’s true, that we know, is that Harry and Meghan are now in a complete informational blackout. They have no idea what is going on with the health of Kate. They have really no idea, it seems, what’s going on with the King so she has really nothing to offer,” she added.

Earlier this year, King Charles and Princess Kate each made their health announcements independently. After learning that King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer, Prince Harry traveled to visit his father, departing less than twenty-four hours after the news was made public. Reports indicate they spoke for only fifteen minutes.

Following the release of Princess Kate’s cancer video, which she posted after rumors about her scheduled abdominal surgery in January, the Sussexes issued a collective statement.

“This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” Princess Kate said in a videotaped statement in March.

Prince Harry also reportedly reached out to his estranged older brother, Prince William. “Harry and Meghan have both been in touch with their brother/sister-in-law but did so privately. It’s not clear if that was a phone/video call or some messages of support,” ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship previously said.

Prior to the public disclosure of Princess Kate’s condition, Prince Harry and Markle “had no idea” about it, The New York Post reported. “They had no idea, and only learned of the news around the same time the rest of the world found out. This goes to show the irreparable damage they have caused. The trust has been broken and the royal family is OK distancing themselves from them,” a source stated.
