Expert Highlights Shift in Harry and Meghan’s Dynamic—From Passionate PDA to a More Distant Double Act

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have noticeably adjusted their relationship dynamics over the past year. Once known for their public displays of affection and strong chemistry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now appear to be focusing on showcasing their individual identities rather than their partnership.

Body language expert Judi James shared her insights with Fabulous, stating, “Harry and Meghan were always the ultimate celebrity BOGOF couple (as in ‘buy one get one free’). As a royal couple, their tactile, besotted, and often intimate PDAs were constant and instinctive. They hugged, kissed, and touched each other frequently and emphatically. Their brand was built around their complementary double act.”

However, James noted a shift in their recent appearances. “One of their more recent outings together shows them comfortable to stand as ‘bookends’ to this pose rather than being welded together in the middle as they previously would have been.”

She pointed out that, unlike before, they now take on more of a hosting role rather than appearing as the inseparable double act. “Instead of posing as the star couple with their primary focus on each other, they are presenting themselves individually, and there is no mirroring of each other, either,” she explained.

This shift suggests that Harry and Meghan are now embracing their roles as independent figures, highlighting their individual strengths and personalities as they navigate their public image outside the royal family.
