Prince Harry and Meghan should feel sorry for Archie and Lili, Royal author says

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ongoing tensions with the royal family are reportedly affecting their children’s relationships with their cousins. Living in California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have distanced themselves from the Royals, consequently compromising Archie and Lilibet’s connections with their cousins.

Royal author Arthur Edwards expressed his concerns, stating: “King Charles has been going to Balmoral since he was a child. One thing I feel sorry for is Prince Harry’s children. They don’t have the summers at Balmoral with their cousins. It’s an amazing place – it’s got rivers, mountains, wild deer. It’s one of the most beautiful parts of the world, let alone just Great Britain.”

In a similar comment to The Sun, Edwards highlighted the broader implications: “Listen, [Harry’s] not only denying the King seeing his grandchildren. He’s denying Archie and Lilibet from seeing their cousins George, Charlotte, and Louis. They’re first cousins, and he doesn’t know them.”

Edwards speculated on the decision-making process within the Sussex household, suggesting, “I don’t think Harry makes the final decision on that. I suspect he’s probably in discussions with Meghan. I don’t think she’s ever going to come here again.”

The strained relationship between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royal family has led to a significant geographical and emotional gap. This distance not only affects the couple but also their children, who miss out on the unique experiences and familial bonds that their cousins in the UK enjoy.

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex focus on their lives in California, the ripple effects of their decisions are felt by the youngest members of the family, underscoring the ongoing challenges and complexities of royal dynamics.
