Details of Prince Harry and King Charles’ Private UK Meeting Revealed

Prince Harry is set to visit London for the WellChild Awards on September 30, but despite staying near Buckingham Palace, a meeting with his father, King Charles, seems highly unlikely due to scheduling conflicts.

According to The Express, King Charles will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament on September 28, with his plans afterward still uncertain. This leaves little room for a father-son reunion during Harry’s brief visit, especially as both their schedules remain packed.

An insider revealed that while a meeting hasn’t been completely ruled out, it’s “highly unlikely” at this point. “The King is due to head south in late September,” the source said. “The King and Queen will mark the 25th anniversary of the Scottish Parliament on September 28 and will have several free days afterward.”

The insider also mentioned that there are ongoing discussions about finding time in the King’s diary, but it’s a challenging task. “If the King decides to head to London in the evening of Sunday, September 29, for meetings scheduled early that week, it is still looking highly unlikely that there will be time to meet with his son,” they added.

The uncertainty extends to King Charles’ plans after his engagements in Scotland, with no clear decision on whether he will travel to Highgrove or London. At the same time, Prince Harry’s visit has already been arranged, leaving limited flexibility for any last-minute changes. “Harry is also making a flying visit and his travel plans have already been booked and organized,” the insider shared.

“There still could be something worked out as nothing is set in stone, but it doesn’t look promising.” While the potential for a royal reunion remains slim, both sides appear to be navigating busy schedules, making it difficult to coordinate a meeting during this brief London visit.
