Under Fire: GB News Presenters Criticized for Soft Interview with Education Minister
GB News presenters Stephen Dixon and Ellie Costello found themselves in hot water after an interview with Education Minister Catherine McKinnell, which left many viewers feeling the politicians were let off too easily. When questioned about the challenge of keeping teachers in the profession, McKinnell assured viewers that “this is one of our biggest priorities.” However, she sparked controversy by blaming the current economic challenges on the previous government, claiming, “We’ve inherited a horrendous blackhole in our economy.”
