Stunning Twist Woman’s Bride Mistaken for a 10-Year-Old Boy Is Now Expecting Triplets
0Lauren, 31, and Hannah Kaye, 29, who faced trolling after many mistook Hannah for a child in their wedding photos, are now sharing joyful news about their growing family. The couple, who met on Tinder and married earlier this year in Surrey, announced in November that they are expecting triplets following a reciprocal IVF journey.
Lauren, already a mother of two, was ineligible for IVF in the UK, prompting the couple to travel to Northern Cyprus immediately after their wedding. There, they spent over $18,000 on reciprocal IVF, a process allowing both women to participate biologically. Hannah donated the eggs while Lauren carried the fertilized embryos, as reported by the New York Post.
At 16 weeks pregnant, Lauren provided an update, revealing the couple is expecting two boys and a girl. “I also had a gastric sleeve two years ago. I lost [209 lbs] — and I’ve had plastic surgery. So, my bump’s not as big as I thought it would be,” Lauren shared. “I am definitely getting wider, and there is a bump starting to show.”
Supporters flooded the couple’s social media with congratulatory messages. One commented: “I’m so jealous of your little bump. Am 17 weeks on Wednesday, and mine is getting so big. You look amazing!” Another added, “It will pop out of nowhere, you just wait.”
The journey hasn’t been easy. Lauren described the IVF process as “exhausting and stressful.” However, just three days after implantation, she began feeling unwell. A blood test two weeks later confirmed the pregnancy. “Hannah and I joke that we got a ‘three for one deal,’” Lauren told The Sun. “To reach the three-month mark and have all babies developing happily is another miracle.”
The couple first gained attention when their wedding photos went viral for the wrong reasons. Hannah’s youthful appearance led some to mistake her for a child. One person even commented it was “cute” that Lauren’s 10-year-old son walked her down the aisle. Lauren revealed that strangers sometimes shout at them in the street.
Hannah’s appearance has caused challenges before; she’s been denied lottery tickets and energy drinks due to her youthful looks. Despite the negativity, the pair remain resilient. “I believe my wife will never age,” Lauren joked, adding they are focused on their growing family and looking forward to welcoming their triplets.
Their story has transformed from a target of criticism to one of perseverance and joy as they prepare for their next chapter as a family of seven.
