Coleen Rooney Says ‘It’s Her Time to Shine’ Amid TV Offers

Coleen Rooney’s fame has reached new heights following her recent stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and the infamous Wagatha Christie case. Once known for her reserved nature, Coleen is now reportedly in high demand for major media opportunities, including a potential regular spot on Loose Women.

According to Heat magazine, her jungle campmate Jane Moore is “leading the campaign to get her to be a Loose Woman.” The source explained: “She knows that Coleen would be TV gold on that panel, as she has a lot of strong opinions and life experience to back them up.”

It seems Jane isn’t the only one backing Coleen. Fellow Loose Women star Ruth Langsford is also said to be championing the idea, with insiders noting Coleen might finally feel ready to open up. The source added: “The fact is that we don’t know Coleen very well – she’s very private. Maybe now she feels comfortable to open up.”

However, Coleen’s rising stardom could prove challenging for her husband, former England footballer Wayne Rooney. Wayne is currently managing Plymouth Argyle, a role that has seen him living apart from Coleen and their boys. His team’s struggles – sitting 22nd in the Championship – have only added to the pressure.

The insider shared: “Doing Loose Women would be quite hard for Coleen at the moment, because Wayne is away, and she wants to be there for the boys. But they have agreed it’s her time to shine”,  reports the Daily Record.

Despite Wayne’s current challenges, the couple appears supportive of Coleen’s newfound career aspirations. The source added: “Wayne could be moving back home sooner rather than later if results don’t go his way. But they’ve both agreed it’s time for Coleen to shine, and she would love to do a daytime TV show. She did I’m A Celeb partly because she wants a career again, so she isn’t ruling anything out.”

Following her jungle exit, Coleen opened up about Wayne’s emotional first words to her. Speaking to journalists, she said: “Wayne just said how proud he was. In the letter I got, he said he’s never missed me as much – and I can understand that because we’ve not spoken. We’ve been apart for weeks and weeks on end, but we speak a number of times a day, we FaceTime. So to not have that communication, it’s been tough.”

With a wave of public support and “a lot of offers flying around,” Coleen’s return to the spotlight seems inevitable. For now, all eyes are on what she’ll do next.
