Coleen Rooney Gets Emotional and Says ‘I’m Proud of Myself’ in Heartfelt Confession Before Reaching Final of I’m A Celebrity

Coleen Rooney, star of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, made a touching confession about feeling “proud of herself” after reaching the final of the competition, according to the Mirror. The WAG, married to footballer Wayne Rooney, made it to the top three alongside McFly’s Danny Jones and Reverend Richard Coles.

The final three celebrated their achievement, with Richard expressing his disbelief: “I couldn’t believe I was in the final three. I never thought I’d make it this far.” Danny shared his excitement, saying, “It feels amazing. I didn’t expect this at all.” Meanwhile, Coleen, clearly emotional, opened up in the Bush Telegraph. She said, “Knowing that I have made it to the final makes me proud. I’m a proud mum, I’m a proud wife, I’m a proud daughter, it’s very rare that I’m proud of myself, so it means a lot. It’s very rare that I put myself first, so yeah, these are happy tears!”, reported by the Sun.

This emotional moment follows another heartfelt experience a few days earlier when Coleen was reunited with her mother, Colette, and two of her younger children during a surprise visit. Upon seeing her mother, Coleen burst into tears, saying, “I don’t want you to leave me now!” But the surprises didn’t end there. After hearing a “boo!”, Coleen turned around to find her two younger boys, Kit and Cass, rushing toward her for a hug. Kit, in his usual cheeky manner, remarked, “She stinks!” but then shared some exciting news. “I won City!” he proudly told her, to which Coleen responded, “Brilliant, did you score?” With a nod, Kit confirmed, and Coleen, tears in her eyes, said, “I’m crying because I’m happy, because I’ve missed you so much!”

Coleen wasted no time giving her family a tour of the camp, including her bed, the dunny, and the Bush Telegraph, with Cass even trying on her jungle hat. However, as soon as their visit ended, it was time for them to leave, and Coleen returned to her journey to be crowned Queen of the Jungle. She shared a final emotional goodbye, telling her boys, “Only a couple more days, and then it will be the countdown to Christmas.”

Two of Coleen’s sons, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, made the journey to Australia to see their mum, while her other sons, Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, stayed home.
