Prince Charles Just Delivered Most Brutal Blow to Harry and Meghan…Do You Blame Him?

A new report has come out stating that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie will not be made a prince when his grandfather Prince Charles becomes king.

Daily Mail reportedly has made it clear to Harry and Meghan that their son will never be a prince because he plans to slim down the monarchy when he becomes king. This has enraged Harry and Meghan, who have fired back by hurling a series of accusations at Charles and the royal family as a whole.

Though a grandson of a king or queen has long had the right to be called a prince, Charles wants to limit the number of key royals because he doesn’t think the public wants to pay for an ever-expanding Monarchy.

A source close to the couple claimed that Charles told them that he intends to change key legal documents to ensure that Archie cannot get the title he would once have inherited by right. This then caused relations between Harry and Meghan and the royals to plummet.

“Harry and Meghan were told Archie would never be a Prince, even when Charles became King,” the source alleged.

Another insider close to Harry and Meghan said earlier this year that they had believed that Archie would indeed be made a prince when Charles took the throne. At the time, their spokesperson was told to remind journalists of that “fact.”

Harry and Meghan finally were told that this would not be the case just before sitting down with Oprah Winfrey for their bombshell tell-all interview back in March. Insiders say that the issue was still raw when the interview took place, which may be why they went as far as they did in it.

“They [the Royal Family] were saying they didn’t want him to be a Prince or a Princess,” Meghan said in the interview. “You know, the other piece of that convention is, there’s a convention – I forget if it was George V or George VI convention – that when you’re the grandchild of the monarch, so when Harry’s dad becomes King, automatically Archie and our next baby would become Prince or Princess, or whatever they were going to be… But also it’s not their right to take it away.”

This left royal fans puzzled, however, as Meghan and Harry had very publicly declared that they didn’t want a title for their son, who would be known as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
