Charles Finds Harry’s Criticism of Camilla Unforgivable ‘I Don’t Think They’ll Ever Forgive Harry for That’

If you thought a reconciliation between Prince Harry and his family might be in the cards, a royal author insists there’s something King Charles can’t get past.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from royal duties and moved to America, they did not go quietly. The Sussexes seemed on a mission to take down Britain’s most famous family, airing out the royals’ dirty laundry publicly.

Some of the revelations upset King Charles, but because the monarch loved his youngest son, many believed that the door for reconciliation was always open. According to a royal biographer, however, there is a line Harry crossed that the king can’t forgive, leaving the Duke of Sussex “on his own” now.

Royal expert Christopher Andersen, who has authored several books about the royal family, explained that it’s what Prince Harry wrote about Queen Camilla (formerly Camilla Parker Bowles) in his memoir “Spare” that has upset the king the most. Andersen insisted that the king is holding a grudge over that.

“I think people have to realize that the one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla,” Andersen said, per Fox News Digital. “Unfortunately for Harry … he said some pretty devastating things about her. He made it clear that he felt she was … the villain in the piece. I think that still bothers the king, and I don’t know that it will be easy for him to [forgive]. I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that. [The duke] is on his own.”

The last time Harry saw his father was in February when he flew to London after learning the king had cancer. A courtier confirmed that the prince did not ask for Palace approval before his flight and claimed that during his brief visit, Camilla “left no doubt he isn’t wanted back.” They added that the queen could not take Harry “using her husband’s cancer [for] a ‘loving son’ PR stunt.”

It’s not just the king who didn’t appreciate Harry writing about his wife. Prince William is reportedly disgusted that his brother brought up the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) in “Spare.”

William is also livid about some of the other things Harry said publicly about the family, and relations between them are currently non-existent. When Kate announced her cancer diagnosis, the Sussexes found out at the same time as the public via her video message.

One of the Prince of Wales’ friends previously told the Daily Beast that William has not forgiven his brother as he “feels utterly betrayed … He hates him for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews … It’s no secret William would prefer it if Harry never stepped foot in England again.”

As King Charles continues to navigate his role as monarch while battling health issues, the royal family’s personal struggles remain under intense public scrutiny. The ongoing rift with Prince Harry, exacerbated by criticisms of Queen Camilla, presents a significant challenge to the image of unity the monarchy typically strives to project.
