Cat Deeley left her This Morning co-host Dermot O’Leary utterly speechless on Wednesday when she dropped an unexpected bombshell about I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! The lively chat about the latest jungle series took a personal turn when Dermot posed a simple question: how would Cat fare in the jungle?

Her candid response was equal parts surprising and hilarious. “You know what, I’d be terrible! In fact, they have never ever asked me. Never approached me, I mean, considering how well I know a couple of guys—well, the one guy who ‘runs the show apparently.’ You’d think they would, wouldn’t you?” she confessed.

After watching the footage, Cat chuckled and admitted, “I did see that, I got on the old [phone].” She then revealed her lighthearted exchange with Ant. “Ant text me back and said: ‘Just in bed, heading to sleep, but would like to follow up and say you’d be great on it as you’re a tough Brummie lass, the snakes and spiders should be scared of you!’”
