Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards opened up about the meaningful reason behind her frequent choice to wear blue, a poignant tribute to her late son, Jamal Edwards. I think a lot of people think I’m a bit boring and haven’t got much of a life!”

As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Christine encouraged Brenda to elaborate on the significance of the color in her life. Brenda shared, “Blue is my happy color. It was my son’s favorite color, blue, and ever since his passing, I have worn blue in tribute to him. It uplifts me and takes me into a lovely, beautiful place, so that’s why I wear blue!”

Jamal Edwards, is a celebrated entrepreneur and founder of SB.TV tragically passed away in February 2022 at just 31 years old due to cardiac arrhythmia. Brenda announced the devastating news in a heartfelt statement:

“It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness. Myself, his sister Tanisha, and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the center of our world”, reported by the Daily Record.

She continued, “As we come to terms with his passing, we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss. I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support. Jamal was an inspiration to me and so many. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”

Jamal’s contributions to the music industry and his inspirational journey remain widely celebrated. For Brenda, wearing blue is a way to keep her son’s memory close and draw strength from his legacy. Her moving story resonated with viewers, offering a powerful example of how personal symbols can provide comfort and connection after loss.
