Boris Johnson Wedding – Real Reason Behind the Honeymoon Delay

Boris Johnson will delay his honeymoon by a year and return to work after the bank holiday weekend following his secret wedding to Carrie Symonds on Saturday.

According to the details, the newly married couple Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds have decided to delay their honeymoon ‘by a year’ to allow the United Kingdom (UK) Prime Minister (PM) to get back to tackling the daily challenges of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Boris and Carrie will take their honeymoon in the summer of 2022, when they will also hold a belated, bigger wedding celebration.

The first photographs of the couple on their wedding day emerged on Sunday, with Carrie Symonds smiling in a white dress and floral headband and Boris Johnson in a dark suit and blue tie.

Johnson’s father, Stanley, and sister Rachel were among the attendees at the celebrations, with jugs of Pimms served in the garden.

Moreover, a Number 10 insider expressed “complete admiration” at how the couple avoided news of the wedding leaking before it took place, saying: “There were no giveaways.”

Johnson, 56, and 33-year-old Symonds – who intends to take her husband’s surname – are said to have sent save-the-date cards to family and friends for the celebration on 30 July 2022.

The wedding ceremony at the Catholic cathedral was carried out by Father Daniel Humphreys, who had given the couple pre-marriage instructions, and baptized Wilfred last year, The Sun on Sunday reported.
