Ben Shephard Humiliated on Live TV: ‘Martin, Get Lost!’ After Hilarious Game Fail

During Tuesday’s This Morning episode, host Ben Shephard found himself in a hilarious moment of embarrassment. The ITV audience had just enjoyed watching a viral video featuring a high-speed version of the classic childhood game, Simon Says. The intense pace of the players left Ben astonished, exclaiming, “I can’t breathe watching that! I’m trying to work out how they did it.”

With the excitement in the air, the This Morning crew decided to take on the challenge live. Financial expert Martin Lewis took charge, humorously stating, “We’ll start easy,” as he began calling out the game’s commands.

Ben Shephard, co-host Cat Deeley, and two guests stood ready for action. As Martin issued his instructions, everyone followed along enthusiastically. “Martin says put your hand on your shoulders. Martin says put your hands on your hips. Martin says put your hands on your knees, done you’re all out!” he announced.

In a cheeky twist, Martin placed his hands on his head instead of his knees, successfully tricking everyone into losing the game. Cat, realizing their blunder, exclaimed in frustration, “That was terrible!”

Ben, playfully embarrassed by their quick defeat, fired back at Martin with a grin, “Martin, get lost!” The banter didn’t stop there, as Ben teased his friend for the trickery, noting, “The look of glee on your face! I’ve been practising that’s how atrocious that was. I’m devastated.”

With laughter filling the studio, co-host Cat Deeley chimed in, amused by Ben’s exaggerated annoyance, “So angry, so angry right now!” It was clear that despite the light-hearted defeat, everyone enjoyed the playful atmosphere.

Later in the show, Ben found himself in another amusing situation. While chatting with Grand Designs host Kevin McCloud, Ben shared a cautionary tale about a property that took six years to complete, even though it was initially projected to be done in eight months.

Cat, currently renovating her own home, humorously interrupted with a smile, “I’m doing up a house at the moment, don’t say things like that! It sounds dreadful!” Kevin then offered some sage advice, encouraging Cat to take her time and manage her budget carefully.

The playful energy of the episode showcased the chemistry between the presenters, leaving the audience entertained by both the challenges and the witty banter.
