Armed Police Respond to North London Shooting Incident in Stamford Hill
0Armed police were dispatched to Stamford Hill, a neighborhood in north London, on Tuesday evening following reports of a shooting that left a woman injured.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:40 pm near Reizel Close. The victim, a woman in her 30s, sustained a gunshot wound to her leg. She was quickly taken to an East London hospital, and her current condition remains unclear, as reported by The Evening Standard.
Eyewitnesses suggest that the woman might have been an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of an armed feud between two groups. According to one witness, individuals in two cars were seen aiming guns at each other. After the shooting, one of the cars reportedly sped off towards Clapton Common, a park about a mile away, where additional gunshots were heard.
