Alex Jones Nearly Spoils Film Ending, Prompting Roman Kemp to Issue a Quick Warning on The One Show
Alex Jones appeared to make a near-blunder during a live broadcast of The One Show, prompting co-host Roman Kemp to issue an urgent warning. The duo returned to their hosting duties on Monday, August 19, with guests Naomi Ackie and Channing Tatum in the BBC One studio.
The actors were there to promote their latest film, Blink Twice, directed by Zoe Kravitz and set to premiere on August 23. Alex, 47, admitted that she had just watched the gripping thriller before the show and was clearly excited to discuss it.
However, during her conversation with Channing about his role in the movie, Alex seemed to drop a potential spoiler, which caught Roman off guard. “Channing, it’s quite a different role for you,” Alex remarked, before adding, “Especially towards the end,” according to The Mirror. The studio erupted in laughter, but Roman quickly jumped in with a light-hearted warning, “Don’t ruin it!”
Channing then shifted the conversation to his personal life, confirming his engagement to director Zoe Kravitz. The couple’s romance became public in 2021, four years after they first worked together on The Lego Batman Movie. Both were coming out of divorces at the time—Channing from his marriage to Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan, and Zoe from her marriage to Karl Glusman.
An insider had earlier shared insights into their relationship with E! News, saying, “There’s more than a friendship going on with Channing and Zoe. They are spending a lot of time together and having fun. They are more than just close friends or co-stars. Their relationship has grown into more.”
By March 2022, after being discreetly seen together at the Met Gala, a source told Page Six that their relationship was blossoming. “Things are going great with Channing, and she is incredibly happy,” the source revealed. “She is in a good place career-wise, and he has a good record of being a dad.”
The couple made their first official appearance together on the red carpet in October 2023, at the Los Angeles premiere of Blink Twice.
