Prince Harry & Prince William’s Heartbreaking Announcement—We Feel SO Bad For Them!

Although Prince William and Prince Harry might have a distant relationship right now, the brothers continue to share one common goal: honoring their late mother, Princess Diana, on Mother’s Day. This year, the UK celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 14.

With Harry living in California now, it was slightly more difficult for him to figure out a way to pay his respects to his mother who is buried in the UK, but the Duke of Sussex managed just fine.

Omid Scobie, Harper’s Bazaar royal editor, explained how Prince Harry was celebrating his mother via Twitter:

William also made sure to honor his mom. On the Kensington Royal Instagram page, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge explained how they were celebrating the special day, and it included a sweet tribute to Princess Diana.

Their caption extended kindness to anyone celebrating the day, particularly those who had lost their mothers. Plus, it explained the carousel of cards shown in the post: “Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William.” So sweet!

Although Harry and William might not be as close now as they once were, they definitely still share the same sentiment when it comes to honoring their mom, echoing what Harry said in his Oprah interview: “As I said before, I love William to bits. We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”

“The relationship is ‘space’ at the moment,” he continued. “And time heals all things, hopefully.”
