Harvey’s Heartbreaking Christmas Plea to Katie Price: ‘I Really Need You This Christmas, Mummy’

Katie Price has shared a deeply emotional message from her son Harvey as the two prepare to spend Christmas apart, reported the Mirror. Harvey, 22, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and is partially sighted, sent his mum a heartfelt note expressing how much he misses her while she performs in a pantomime up north.

In his touching message, Harvey wrote: “Mummy I am miss you for a lot of cuddles, kisses on the lips and kisses on your full head in warm cosy bed. Because I am really need you a lot at Christmas please mummy to make Harvey happy this Christmas.”

Katie, 46, shared the message with her followers, highlighting the emotional strain of being away from her son during the festive season. The glamour model has always been open about the challenges and joys of raising Harvey, and this Christmas is no exception.

On Jamie Laing’s Private Parts podcast, Katie explained the difficulties of gift-buying for Harvey, who often asks for expensive electronics but has a habit of breaking them. “All he wants is the same every year. He wants a computer, a TV. I buy it every year, because all he does is smash them. He says, ‘pinky promise, I won’t,’” Katie recounted, sharing a bittersweet laugh about the repeated cycle.

Katie has learned to adapt, opting for cheaper versions of the items Harvey requests, knowing they’re unlikely to last long at his college. She also revealed on her own podcast, The Katie Price Show, that life at home with Harvey can sometimes be overwhelming. Last year, she opened up about a particularly tough week: “It’s like, two tellys, it’s cost me three windows and then he blocked the toilets, so I had to get £600 to get a plumber round. I’ve just had a week of hell. It’s a big weight off my shoulders.”

Despite the challenges, Katie’s love for Harvey remains unwavering. Harvey’s father, former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, has been estranged from him for years. Katie has taken on the full responsibility of parenting Harvey while raising her other children: Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with former husband Kieran Hayler.

This year, Katie is spending Christmas with her close friend Kerry Katona, 44, as the two star as the wicked stepsisters in a Cinderella pantomime at Northwich Memorial Court in Cheshire. Taking to social media, Katie shared her plans for the festive season, saying, “This Xmas I’m actually spending it up north with my bestie Kerry Katona. We’re in panto together and she’s making her house all magical. I said I’ll help with the cooking, especially the roast potatoes.”

Katie and Kerry’s holiday plans bring a lighter note to an otherwise emotional season for the Price family. While Harvey’s touching message has tugged at heartstrings, Katie is doing her best to bring joy to the season, even if it means celebrating apart from her eldest son.
