Inside Allissa Starr’s Unusual Christmas Tradition: How She Brings Holiday Cheer to Her Clients

For Allissa Starr, Christmas is more than just another holiday—it’s her busiest and most heartwarming time of the year. The 37-year-old works at Sheri’s Ranch, a luxury legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, and embraces the festive season with her clients, many of whom seek companionship during the holidays.

“Of course, Christmas is fun with the decorations and makes you feel good anyway,” Allissa, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, explains. “To be able to experience that with your job at the same time is a joy”, reported by Daily Star.

Many of her visitors are single men far from family, or those who have lost loved ones, looking to make the holiday season less lonely. Some even bring their own festive touches to their visits. “I’ve had customers bring in a fake Christmas tree, chocolates, and stocking stuffers,” she shares. “We can share special dinners with wine—it’s a complete Christmas experience for us both.”

Allissa, who has worked at Sheri’s for 14 years, fondly recalls a client traveling two hours with a small, decorated Christmas tree to surprise her. “It was like Santa’s sleigh. He made sure we had a Christmas together,” she says. “It was so thoughtful, and it made my heart full.”

Her petite 5-foot frame lends itself to festive costumes, including an elf outfit she enjoys wearing to bring holiday cheer. Clients often bring bulging sacks of gifts, and the joy of exchanging presents brings back memories of childhood surprises. “It’s fun to see how happy they get and how happy I feel opening their gifts,” she adds.

The holiday spirit extends beyond the ranch. Allissa recalls a client donating $2,000 in gift cards to Toys for Tots, allowing her and her colleagues to shop for children in need. “It was awesome,” she says. “We went to Walmart and bought toys—it was such a fun and meaningful experience.”

Despite the busy schedule, Allissa takes Christmas Day off to spend with her family, including her daughter. Working through the holiday season, however, remains a source of joy and fulfillment. “It’s worth it to be able to provide for my family and buy presents for my daughter,” she says. “Seeing the impact I have on my clients and making their hearts full makes it all worthwhile.”

For Allissa, Christmas at Sheri’s Ranch isn’t just about work; it’s about connection, generosity, and spreading holiday cheer.
