Alex Jones Reveals Stunning Christmas Tree in Magical Family Home

BBC presenter Alex Jones delighted fans over the weekend as she gave a heartwarming glimpse of her festive home makeover, showcasing her family’s first Christmas in their new countryside home.

Taking to Instagram, the One Show star, 47, shared an enchanting video documenting the transformation of her family’s Christmas tree into a sparkling centerpiece. The clip began with Alex carefully wrapping strings of twinkling fairy lights around a towering fir tree before her two sons, Teddy, six, and Kit, four, joined in to add the magic touch.

The boys eagerly helped their mum thread ruby red ribbons and hang glistening baubles in deep reds, forest greens, and shimmering golds. Towards the end of the video, Alex revealed the final result – a magnificent tree adorned with sparkling decorations and topped with a giant silver star, proudly displayed in the family’s cozy living room, reported by Hello! Magazine.

“Go big or go home!!!!!” Alex captioned the video. “We got a bit overexcited about our first Christmas in the new house and bit off slightly more than we can chew, but we got there eventually and she’s a beaut.”

Fans and friends were quick to flood the comments section with praise for the family’s festive effort. One fan wrote, “Wow Alex, amazing, hope you all enjoy your first Christmas in your new home,” while another added, “Beautiful and so traditional, wishing you happy times over Christmas.” A third enthusiastically commented, “Massive YESSS to the colour scheme, love red and white.”

Alex and her husband, Charlie, moved to the countryside earlier this summer after spending 14 happy years in West London. Explaining their decision to relocate, Alex previously shared, “It was a big decision to leave West London where we have been very happy for 14 years, but we wanted the children to have space to play outside and to grow up in nature.”

The couple spent nearly four years searching for their dream home. “It took nearly 4 years of searching to find the ‘one’. Somewhere where the children could appreciate nature but yet close enough to London for me to get to work… We feel very lucky,” she added.

Since moving, the family has welcomed an adorable black Labrador puppy named Scout. Sharing the surprise on Instagram, Alex wrote, “Big news!!! There is a new addition to the family and it was a COMPLETE SURPRISE (thanks Charlie)… I’ve fallen head over heels with little Scout, we all have.”

With a dazzling tree, a cozy home, and joyful memories already unfolding, Alex’s first Christmas in the countryside promises to be truly magical.
