Kerry Katona ‘Thought She Was Going to Die’ After Horrific Crash in £200,000 Lamborghini

Kerry Katona was left fearing for her life after a terrifying crash in her £200,000 Lamborghini en route to pantomime rehearsals with Katie Price, reports the Mirror.

The 44-year-old TV personality had a near-miss last week when she skidded on black ice while driving to her Cinderella rehearsals at Northwich Memorial Court, where she stars alongside Katie Price. The incident occurred as Kerry was traveling along an icy country road. Although she was unharmed in the collision, Kerry was left shaken and was driven home by police after the accident.

In her weekly OK! column, Kerry opened up about the harrowing experience. “I’ve had a bit of a nightmare this week, after I crashed my car on an icy country road,” she began. “I was on my way into work and I was talking to Molly on my hands-free in the car when my car went over some black ice, it span and went into a tree and back into a fence – I literally thought I was going to die.”

Kerry went on to describe the terrifying moment when her phone detected the crash and sent an alert while Molly remained on the line. “I wasn’t bothered about my car but I was just in complete shock and lost complete control of the car. My phone recognised that I had been in a crash so started an alert, and Molly was still on the line so heard me screaming, it was horrible,” she recalled.

Fortunately, the icy road conditions were to blame, and police assured Kerry that the crash was not her fault. “Four other cars did the exact same thing later that day because it was a country road that hadn’t had any salt put on it, so thankfully the police said it was the condition of the road and not my fault. They drove me home and I was really shook up when I got there – I was in shock and had whiplash,” she explained.

After the crash, Kerry was prescribed strong medication for the whiplash but chose to stop taking it because she disliked the feeling of being out of control. While her car is being repaired, her friend lent her a massive vehicle for the time being, which she humorously described as a “monster truck” and “like a spaceship.”

Kerry’s tumultuous year also includes a recent breakup from fiancé Ryan Mahony, whom she had met on Bumble in 2018. Despite the ups and downs, Kerry continues to support her mother, who is dealing with health issues.
