Jane Moore has traded the Loose Women panel for the adventurous I’m A Celebrity jungle in the 2024 series, captivating viewers with her candid personality and inquisitive interactions. Dubbed the “camp mum,” the journalist has won over fans while her three daughters cheer her on from home.
Jane shares two daughters, Ellie and Grace, with her ex-husband of 22 years, Gary Farrow, whom she divorced in 2022. She’s also a proud stepmum to Lauren, Gary’s daughter from a previous relationship. While she keeps her family life private, Jane recently shared joyous news: her eldest daughter, Ellie, tied the knot in a picturesque Barcelona wedding in September, according to Hello! Magazine.
Jane posted a heartfelt video montage from the event, writing, “Goodbye Barcelona. What a glorious time we’ve had. My gorgeous daughter Ellie got married to my delightful new son-in-law in front of close family and friends, and the sun shone all day long. We have laughed, cried, and partied slightly too hard, but it was truly magical.”
Her blended family has always been a source of joy and inspiration. Back in 2021, she shared a rare glimpse of her stepdaughter Lauren’s newborn daughter, Summer, and sought grandparenting advice on Instagram. “Summer is here! Not the season (I’m back in jumpers already), but my stepdaughter Lauren’s daughter pictured here with her proud mum, both her aunties, and ‘Nana Jane’ on the end,” she captioned the post, joking about her undecided title as a grandmother.
Before heading to the jungle, Jane offered parting advice to her daughters: avoid scrolling through social media. “I’ve said to my daughter, don’t go looking for things, because it will pass,” she told The Sun. “For me, if it doesn’t make it into a printed newspaper, then it’s not a story.”
Jane has also opened up about her close relationship with Ellie, affectionately likened to Saffy from Absolutely Fabulous by her stepdaughter Lauren. Ellie described the family as “a lively bunch” and embraced her role as the sensible one, joking, “Life is a lot easier when you’re organized and have a clear head. Having said that, Mum thinks I disapprove when she lets her hair down, but I don’t really—just when I get woken up!”
