Kate Middleton to Go Solo? Princess Follows Meghan’s Path with Independent Ventures

Kate Middleton may soon embark on solo projects and appearances, taking a page from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s approach, according to royal expert Robert Jobson. Jobson claims that the Princess of Wales, who recently resumed royal duties after reportedly recovering from cancer treatment, may consider individual engagements without her husband, Prince William.

Jobson, a royal author, shared with Hello Magazine that while Kate and William are planning an overseas tour together, the Princess might also explore independent appearances, similar to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s solo initiatives. In recent months, the Sussexes have pursued individual ventures, with Meghan attending the LA Children’s Hospital Gala and Harry making solo trips to New York, London, and South Africa for charitable events.

“Catherine may well do a couple of solo things so that William can stay at home with the kids,” Jobson speculated. This approach could provide a balance between royal duties and family responsibilities, a priority for the mother of three.

Jobson further explained that King Charles may have encouraged Kate, sharing how “buoyed he felt by his recent overseas tour,” though he believes the Princess will handle her duties in her own unique way. “Her illness has been a life-changing experience; she has changed the way she lives her life, and I think she will be making her own choices.

Her priority is still her family,” Jobson added. With a new perspective on life after her health challenges, Kate’s potential for solo ventures suggests a fresh approach within the Royal Family, where balancing personal and public life is increasingly essential.
