In a conversation with The Sun, royal expert Mark Borkowski shared his insights, suggesting that Harry is still liked by many, but it’s his wife who has become a point of contention. “People still love Harry, they still like him. That’s the problem,” Borkowski explained. “The problem is they don’t like the woman he loves.”

Bronte Coy, a reporter who also weighed in on the topic, agreed with Borkowski’s assessment. She recalled Harry’s immense popularity before his departure from royal duties, saying, “He was Britain’s favorite son, their cheeky son, and so popular. It’s only been a few years since he left, though it feels like a lot longer.” Coy emphasized that while Harry still holds a place in the hearts of many, Meghan was never given the same affection. “I think people still hold great affection for him, even though they never really knew her [Meghan]. They didn’t even know her as a royal, really, as it was such a short period.”

Reflecting on the early days of their relationship, Borkowski pointed out that there was initially an outpouring of love for Meghan, particularly because many felt that Harry had found happiness later in life, by royal standards. “People felt he [Harry] had found someone fairly late in life, at least in terms of royal standards where they sort of get married off early,” he noted.
