Robert Rinder Struggles to Contain Laughter During Hilarious Good Morning Britain Segment

Robert Rinder couldn’t hold back his laughter while co-hosting Good Morning Britain alongside Kate Garraway on the morning of September 6. The light-hearted moment occurred during an interview with Scouts leader Dwayne Fields, when Kate decided to quiz him on some nature-related questions, much to the surprise of viewers.

Before diving into the questions, Kate took a playful jab at her co-host. Addressing Dwayne, she said, “I know you’re busy, so we won’t keep you much longer, but can you answer some of the Scouting questions that Rob failed so dismally to do earlier on?” She then teased Rob further, saying, “Even though he looks like a boy scout, clearly he has no survival skills.”

Rob, looking baffled, glanced off-camera at the crew before breaking into fits of laughter. Keeping a straight face, Kate asked their guest, “What is the right way to hold an eel, Dwayne?”

The guest appeared taken aback and unsure how to respond, prompting Kate to jump in with the answer: “If you hold the eel a few inches below the head and support it under the main body—apparently.” Meanwhile, Rob was in hysterics, wiping away tears as he struggled to regain his composure, told Daily Express.

The hilarity continued as Kate followed up with another question, asking, “Do you know how to light a wet match?” But while the presenters were clearly enjoying the moment, not all viewers were impressed.

Some fans took to social media to express their displeasure. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “What is this s**t on the box, pass the remote #gmb,” while another added, “Wake me up when this segment is over #gmb.” A third user criticized Kate, saying, “She’s just embarrassing…#gmb.”

However, others found the segment uplifting. One viewer tweeted, “Hahaha Rob’s like wtf she on about #gmb,” while another wrote, “Robbie Rinder trying to hold it together while the gorgeous Kate Garraway is being her delightful self is bringing joy to my Friday #GMB.”

Though reactions were mixed, the humorous moment between Rinder and Garraway certainly left its mark on the morning broadcast.
