Katie Price Drops Bombshell Baby News: Her Surprising Decision on Expanding Her Family

Katie Price has revealed a significant update about expanding her family, announcing to her followers: “I can categorically say – I will be having a baby.”

At 46, the celebrity is preparing for motherhood again, sharing details in her forthcoming book about her decision to use a sperm donor from the US instead of her current boyfriend, JJ Slater from Married At First Sight, whom she has been dating since February.

In her new autobiography This Is Me, Katie shares her plans: “I am going to have another baby. There is a clinic that currently has some donor eggs and sperm ready and is waiting for me to come in and have them implanted.”

She elaborated further, “I went through a list of suitable donors and I have chosen sperm from a man who is mixed race from America. Although I potentially have one egg that would be viable, I have chosen to have a donor egg too.” Already a mother to five, Katie has previously expressed her desire for “another two or three” kids and has been candid about her unsuccessful IVF attempts, reports OK!.

Despite rumors of a split, Katie speaks positively about JJ in her book, recounting how they connected after she spotted him on Channel 4’s Married At First Sight and her initial worries that he might not be attracted to her when they met in person.

It appears the arrangements with the American donor were made before her relationship with JJ began. In her book, which hits shelves tomorrow, she tells her readers: “I was so drawn to him.”

“He wasn’t the typical, needy type of man who would say: ‘I want to see you again, I want to f*** you.’ That is a real turn-off for me. He wasn’t anything like that.” Her baby news comes three months after Katie dismissed rumors she was already expecting her sixth child, this time with new beau JJ, whom she had only been seeing for a few weeks at the time.

On her Katie Price Show podcast with sister Sophie, she commented: “In the papers they’re like ‘pregnancy rumors’ because I’ve got signs of bloating. And I’m like ‘what an insult’.” The celebrity then flaunted a flat stomach to the camera in a clip shared on Instagram, asserting: “See, no airbrushing there.”

Katie is already a mother to five children: Harvey, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke, Princess and Junior with Peter Andre, and Jett and Bunny with Kieran Hayler. Last year, she ended her relationship with car dealer and occasional Love Island contestant Carl Woods after a tumultuous two-year relationship.
