Prince Harry Avoids Deepening Royal Rift by Steering Clear of U.S. Citizenship

Prince Harry is unlikely to pursue U.S. citizenship, a move seen as potentially jeopardizing his royal title amidst an already strained relationship with the British royal family.

Esteemed author Christopher Anderson, known for his book “The King: The Life of Charles III,” shared insights with Fox News on the delicate balance the Duke of Sussex must maintain to avoid further distancing himself from his lineage.

According to Anderson, such a significant step by Harry could compel King Charles III to reconsider Harry’s royal status, a consequence that seems to offer little benefit to the Duke, told The Mirror.

He added, “There is really no earthly reason why, after being accused of turning his back on his family and his country, Harry would want to twist the knife by seeking U.S. citizenship.”

The speculation around Prince Harry’s citizenship emerged following his candid revelations in an interview in Canada, where the topic seemed to catch him off guard. Despite his life with his family in the United States, Harry conveyed to “Good Morning America” that while the idea of becoming a U.S. citizen had crossed his mind, it didn’t hold immediate importance.

This cautious stance highlights the complexities Harry navigates as he balances his new life in America with his inherent ties to the British monarchy, illustrating the ongoing challenges he faces in reconciling his past with his present.
