A 12-year-old boy was left distraught when his bicycle, a cherished Christmas gift, seemingly vanished from his friend’s front yard, only to be reportedly taken by an Amazon delivery person. The incident occurred in Bulwell, where Kyren Wheeldon had ridden his prized Carrera bike to visit a friend. The bike’s disappearance was later suggested by a neighbor’s security footage, which captured the delivery worker loading the bike into his van after making a delivery at the residence.

Kyren’s mother, Beckie Wheeldon, expressed her dismay, noting the emotional toll on her son, who was in tears over the loss. “It was a shock to think a delivery driver, of all people, would do this,” she said. The bike was more than just a toy for Kyren, who has ADHD; it was a means of connecting with friends and a favorite pastime at the local BMX track.

The theft was caught on camera shortly after the delivery person dropped off a package and seemingly took the bike.
