Prince Harry Expresses Regret Over Leaving Royal Family Amid Growing Security Concerns

Prince Harry has faced criticism from royal commentators for his stance on security issues in the UK following his and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from their senior royal roles in 2020. Royal commentator Charles Rae, speaking on GB News, has specifically called out what he perceives as inconsistencies in Prince Harry’s expectations and actions.

Rae highlighted the apparent contradiction in Prince Harry’s complaints about security arrangements. “It’s another ridiculous claim by him… Remember it was Harry who wanted to live his own life,” Rae stated. He emphasized that by choosing to leave their royal duties, Harry and Meghan also opted out of the privileges and security traditionally provided to senior members of the royal family.

Despite the late Queen’s purported wishes to maintain effective protection for Harry and his family during their UK visits, Rae suggested that Harry himself was responsible for the change in their security situation. “But it was Harry that threw his toys out of the pram and decided he was going to go,” he claimed.

Rae also commented on Harry’s desire to distance himself from what he referred to as the “royal circus” and to seek financial independence. While acknowledging Harry’s success in earning his income, Rae pointed out that the Duke has faced no criticism in this regard.

However, Rae argued that Harry and Meghan have often voiced concerns about their privacy while simultaneously contributing to public controversies involving the royal family, which he believes contradicts their privacy stance. This behavior, according to Rae, includes their alleged involvement in stirring controversies against the royal family.

Amidst these developments, reports are suggesting that the couple might face the loss of their royal titles, particularly in the wake of allegations surrounding ‘racist royals.’ Such a move, if it were to happen, is speculated to have significant repercussions on their professional endeavors and public image.

These criticisms and the ongoing speculation about Harry and Meghan’s future roles and titles highlight the complex and often scrutinized dynamics of their post-royal life, marked by a balance between independence and the lingering influence of their royal connections.
