King Charles and Royal Family on High Alert: Omid Scobie Claims Trust Issues with Prince Harry Post ‘Spare’

Following the release of Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare‘, the Royal Family was reportedly cautioned about speaking openly in his presence, fearing their conversations might be revealed in future publications. Royal author Omid Scobie, in his upcoming book ‘Endgame,’ delves into King Charles’s wary approach when conversing with Harry after the memoir’s publication.

According to Scobie, the initial phone call between King Charles and Prince Harry post-‘Spare’ was strained, with the King opting for a guarded and non-committal conversation. A source close to the family revealed that a warning was issued among the royals, advising them not to trust Harry and to disregard both the assertions in his book and his promotional statements.

Scobie’s new book, which he emphasizes is not affiliated with Harry and Meghan, seeks to present an in-depth analysis of the current state of the British monarchy. Describing the book as “a penetrating investigation,” Scobie explores various dynamics within the royal family, including an “unpopular king, a power-hungry heir, and a queen willing to go to great lengths to preserve her image.”

Despite their cooperation with Scobie for his previous book, ‘Finding Freedom,’ Sussex insiders have reportedly clarified to MailOnline that Harry and Meghan are not involved with ‘Endgame‘. They also denied Scobie being a part of the “Sussex Camp.” Known for his roles as the royal editor at Harper’s Bazaar and a contributor for ABC News, Scobie has been a prominent figure in royal reporting, appearing on platforms like Good Morning America and ITV’s This Morning.

‘Finding Freedom’, co-authored by Scobie and Carolyn Durand in 2020, focused on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from the Royal Family and their subsequent relocation to the US. ‘Endgame’ promises to offer fresh insights into the complexities and challenges facing the modern British monarchy.
