During their meeting at the garden party, Wendy invited Prince William to visit the Keeping It Real 24/7 food bank, and he agreed. Despite some skepticism from others, Wendy remained confident that the Prince would honor his commitment to visit Moss Side.
True to his word, Prince William arrived at the food bank, surprising Wendy and the volunteers with his presence. Prince William actively participated in the food preparation at the bank. He helped chop ingredients like okra, onion, and sweet pepper for a fish stew and a Jamaican specialty, Sunday Soup. He worked alongside Morris Hall and Donovan Beach, both originally from Jamaica, who expressed their delight and surprise at seeing a royal family member up close.
